All four of our children have attended Walsh Jesuit High School. It was an excellent on-ramp for college and for life. Our children were taught and shown by example to be men and women for and with others. They are acutely aware that the world is not all about them. They were well prepared and successful in college. Due to the AP courses offered, our sons graduated from college in four years with double majors. One even completed his first year of his masters program during his senior year. The ROI has been outstanding. Scholarship dollars helped defray the cost of college. Two of our children received notes from college professors commenting on their excellent writing skills. Finally, the current diversity initiatives are effective and making a difference in the student and faculty/staff population of the school.

Our daughter graduated from Walsh Jesuit recently, and it's really an amazing high school. She is away at college now, and expressed just the other day over the phone that she is much better prepared academically than many of her peers that came from all over the U.S.. She also expressed gratitude(!) toward her father and I for sending her to Walsh Jesuit as she feels more mentally/morally grounded and prepared than she thinks she may have been had she attended a different high school.
The sense of community that the administrators, faculty and very importantly , the other parents offer, is incredible. They're reasonable, kind people, who are successful people in their own right, but always classy and respectful. It is a community that emphasizes kindness, and is well, just a really normal place! It's been a great experience for the whole family, and the best way to experience it, is to say yes, and get involved!
I transferred into Walsh Jesuit as a sophomore from St. Peter Chanel, a school with a population size of a little over 200 people. Walsh Jesuit, a college preparatory school, definitely had challenged me in all ways: socially, mentally, and physically. As coming in as a transfer student, Walsh Jesuit made the transfer process smooth. Though, there were more people, and the academics were more challenging, I did try my best and ended up succeeding. Though, this is what Walsh Jesuit and the faculty and staff at this school do. They help you step outside your comfort zone and they continually support you each day. Walsh Jesuit is a wonderful school, and has helped me grow in my faith with the help of the community and many retreats that I have gone on or help lead. To end, it's always a great day to be a Warrior! AMDG!
