It's alright. Not the best but not the worst either. Bathrooms are nasty and the food is eh, but I made good memories there.
I have had an amazing time at walnut hill . yea they can be strict but strict is better because it shows they care about our future . And we get lots of Rewards . This is a super good school to go to .
I came to Walnut Hill my 8th grade after coming from Broadmoor Middle School. They treated me like family anytime I had a problem. I am pretty sure they will welcome you with open arms. My experience wasn't bad. Most of the kids at that school have known each other since pre-k so I really didn't know anyone. I think the faculty and staff could be a little better and they need to start working together more.
This school is extremely prejudiced and teaches Christianity even though it is a public school. My children have been told that climate change is not man made, that Christianity is the only true religion, and that science that disagrees with the bible is wrong. This school should not be receiving funds as a public institution. They break laws on a daily basis but expect children to follow every whim a teacher has. Mass punishment is used regularly, and the rules are enforced per student and not as a whole. This is an awful school, and if your children are not white southern baptists, expect them to feel isolated and shunned.
Is a great school!! Teachers have experience, have a great staff (friendly and helpful). Love the AR program and the motivation they use.
I would not recommend this school. There is a lot of behavioral problems that the school will not handle. My son has been bullied, punched and had his lunch stolen. I’ve contacted the school several times and they are not interested. The teachers are not helpful and very uninterested in hearing any bullying issues.
