Our daughter has loved Walden: the small class size, the committed teachers and the caring community has really been amazing. When we moved to Louisville, we weren't interested in a religious- based school so ended up at JCPS. After a year, we knew that it was time to make a change. The staff's commitment to transparency during the tumultuous COVID changes was awesome and confirmed what we had thought all along, that Walden is a great place to trust our kid's education to!
My grandchildren attend Walden and they absolutely love their school! It's challenging academically, but the school and the teachers are so full of love and support, the kids enjoy learning. Walden also has an active grandparents association, so I get to participate in so many fun events with other grandparents.
Walden is a hidden gem in the heart of St. Matthews! We couldn't ask for a more loving, supportive learning environment for our kids. The teachers are amazing. They make learning fun with creative hands-on experiments and extended time in the school's outdoor classrooms. Even though we're in virtual learning now, the teachers still bring the lessons to life. I'm so glad we found Walden!
