The administration has been a problem the last few years. It's a small school, and the faculty say they support feedback and want us to share our opinions/concerns, but many complaints and nearly all issues are not dealt with properly or at all. They enroll many children with certain mental disorders but lack the resources needed to care for them. They bring in children from west end schools for diversity, but they are always the first and only to be asked to leave at mostly minor inconveniences because they do not pay full price. Those who pay full-price for their education are essentially immune to the law.
They take measures to make sure that break times for children are comfortable. The classes are not too difficult, and there is always the option for extra help when needed. The community is close. They have done much to update the school and fix it up. They have also made strides to employ new teachers, and attempted to add more classes to the curriculum.

Amazing school, provides everything and more than I could ever wish for my child. He will not only continue to accelerate his academic achievements but his socal and moral needs are also met. Giving back is an integral part of everyday life at Walden and it fosters a family environment. Not a day goes by that I do not see the administration hands on with the kids.
If I could go black to school I would want to attend Walden.
