I had a great experience with Walden III. I really enjoy it and I highly recommend it. Nothing is bad to be said about the school. Overall it is a great school to go to.
I love Walden. It is more of a family than a school. The teachers are amazing and actually care about you. it is an amazing enviorment.
During my time at Walden I felt cared for. I hit a rough patch during my senior year. I was eventually diagnosed with severe depression and general anxiety and spent much of the year failing my classes. Despite this, the teachers and staff tried to help in every way they could. The secretary would say hi to me every morning, my teachers gave extra help to me on assignments, and my peers tried to cheer me up as best as they could. It's because of this that I believe Walden is such a good school, and that is why I want it to be the best possible in Racine. Not only for the education, but since I want everyone to feel as welcomed as I was.
My overall experience has been great. I like the students there and have made some life long friends. All the teachers there care a lot and are very nice and it offers most classes that I wanted to take. There are some great clubs too and its very comforting school to attend. One reason is because it has a smaller student body than most other schools. I don't have a preference over a big or small school but somedays it is nice to have fewer students attending.
I really liked Walden’s environment because since it was such a small school I got to know every single person. I was close with the teachers, which benefited me in the end because they could work with every student when needed. The people I met at Walden have shaped me into the person I am and without them I wouldn’t be who I am today and I’m so grateful for that.
This school is grades 6-12, which is unique to the area. No bullying policy and no bells to remind kids to get places on time. Another unique thing about Walden III is that the teachers are called by their first names which makes it seem more like a friendship than a student/teacher relationship.
Overall the school is great. No bullying policy. Class choices could be better. Teachers are excellent!
I have been going to this school since my middle school years and will be graduating from this place next year. Almost all of my teachers have been really great and taught me many things. Some of my teachers have been better than others as some have not taught properly or performed inappropriate school behavior.
At Walden III High School there are a few activities and clubs that students are able to participate in, but in my opinion they are geared towards certain groups of people. Walden isn't like your typical high school considering that we do not have any sports teams for the high school, the only one that we have that comes close to it is girls powderpuff. But, the school has some great teachers, and a wide range of classes to take. At Walden academics are taken very seriously and to make sure everyone succeeds the teachers are willing to do everything in their power to make sure that we can go far in life and do great things. Walden III High School is a great school, and we do some amazing things.
Walden III helped prepare me for life after high school. The teachers, atmosphere and overall feeling of the building is perfect. I very much enjoyed all the years I spent there and will miss my time there as I move on to other things. However, it is a small school, and that's not for everyone.
Walden is a great learning experience for everyone all the teachers are very nice Walden has always been a second home for many and so many more to come there is a open concept where we call our teachers by their first name and it makes it feel like we are a huge Walden family and I am so happy and honored I get to experience the Walden lifestyle and family
Walden III Middle and High School is such an amazing environment to be in. Independence and responsibility play a huge factor into our family like atmosphere. Our school is very involved with the community such as being one of the top contributors to the Racine County Food Bank, having Make a Difference Day where each home group goes out different to places in the community to serve, and keeping the environment safe thanks to our Green School Club. Our teachers do an excellent job at providing assistance to students who may need help and are very willing to give up their free time to do so. Walden values their students and the opinions they have and I would like to see more town hall meetings with the whole school like we used to so students would be able to express what their opinions are in things the school is dealing with.
Walden has been a home away from home. The students and faculty here make the atmosphere somewhere where people want to spend time, share their voice, and move forward. Walden is directed to listening to the students voices and working with the community. The teachers truly care about the students and will do whatever they can to make sure the students succeed to the best of their ability. Walden is an extraordinary school that I have had the pleasure of calling home for 7 years.
Love the school. Teachers are great, very friendly and funny! I wish the school hadn't been changing, as many cool activities we do are no longer available. Still, it is very accepting and a high concentration of LGBT students!
Walden is unlike any other high school out there. Filled with teachers who will dedicate their time and efforts into pushing a student to succeed and to improve upon their scores. With a focus on the study side of schooling Walden offers many unique AP classes that can help students earn college credits and get a jump start into their ideal profession.
Walden III high school is a school that is created on the basis of free spirit. this school is somewhere where you will feel at home and be taught in a way that encourages creativity and freedom and self expression. This school is a home and I would recommend it to anybody in question
I would like to see more teachers being hired who truly understand the mission of the school, the so-called "Walden Way".
