My experience at wakefield high school was honestly a rollercoaster at best to describe in full detail. I started off very well in my freshman and softmore years. I learned the material pretty efficiently, got to make bonds with teachers and other people that were apart of the staff, and engaged in activities that would usually be out my comfort zone. I even got to make some friends along the way which was very cool as well. However, I have to be completely honest and say that my junior year was not my best year by any standards, in fact it was probably one of my worst ever. I had some teachers who were either not sure what to teach, or I just couldn't connect with some of the material at the time. I was also the most stressed at the time as well cause it was year before I started looking for colleges and applying. However I did make the most out of it, as I was able to befriend 2 of the closest people that I would call best friends. Senior year was the most fun!

I’ve been going to Wakefield for 3 years now and it’s been a blast! The people in there are nice, friendly and polite. Most of the other students are friendly too. The food for lunch is pretty ok, the teachers are mostly nice and understanding, the staff is pretty friendly too. One of my issues was having teachers from other countries who’s teaching was pretty extreme in terms of the amount of work and tests/exams. I feel very safe in the school, nothing out of the ordinary has ever happened in the halls during the last three years. Wakefield has some of the best clubs, there’s something for everyone.
I like Wakefield so much! You will feel like you are at home while you have to always keep up with your grades. The only thing that I don't really like is that students from different countries should take "English Learners" classes instead of regular classes with native English-speakers because it really helps when students can hear the conversations between their native classmates. The counselors are the best, especially if you are a senior. They do everything to provide students with important information and opportunities. They motivate, they teach, they talk about life after the high-school, they advise with different things. About extracurriculars, you will not get bored after school. Every day something after school will be happening either if it sport or cultural club. So, let's go, Warriors!
