Waiakea Highschool is a very optimistic and good school, everyone is very friendly and nice so its really easy to make friends. The teachers are sometimes a little strict but most of them go at a teaching pace so that everyone in the class can hopefully understand well. The student life is absolutely great, we have weekly activities in our main field (the quad, shaped like a big hexagon kinda) and if you don't want to participate, you can watch from the sides. Waiakea Highschool wants to make learning fun, not just for teachers but most importantly for you!

Waiakea High School is a student-led school. This means that despite teachers and staff are still in charge, they teach the students to become independent by leading their own events. The school often holds events to raise school spirit and provides fun events as well as goodies to those that participate in events. The academics are very good, though every school has room for improvement. The diversity of the school is amazing! You get to see so many different types of students here, as well as teachers. The school often takes students out to different countries to help the students experience the outside world.
Awesome public school with great education and staff. In my opinion, I would say that Waiākea High is a public school that provides private school education. There is absolutely no bullying at this school. I had an amazing experience at this school. There are multiple academies that you can get into such as health, PSA, Star, and Business. Theses academies offer special classes to help you move towards that career choice. My academy was health and when I took health they offered health camps to attend, CPR training, and so many more opportunities. I would definitely recommend this school for anyone who is truly interested in education.
