Wahlert Catholic High School Reviews
Rating 3.67 out of 5 58 reviews
I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Wahlert Catholic High School! The teachers and staff were great at helping students; however, some of the students weren't the nicest people. Besides a few bad apples, I received a great education from Wahlert. The Catholic school education taught me how to be a good person and an even better student. The small class sizes and the block schedule allowed for an in-depth education. The honors and AP teachers prepared me pretty well for tests and college life. Overall, I highly recommend Wahlert's private education, and I am so grateful to have received a Wahlert education.
It is a good school with strong academics, AP classes and a strong mentoring program. Students have the option of traditional classes or the online Summit program. But diversity is lacking in the school and more needs to be done to create a more culturally inclusive and diverse high school.
Wahlert is a very small, Catholic school that encourages community. It has provided an excellent education while demonstrating Catholicism. It also holds us to high standards to always work to be our best selves. The teachers take time to get to know each of the students, providing mentoring time to check in on more than just grades--mental and physical health. I have created such a strong relationship with so many people because of the community feel, it is going to be difficult to say goodbye:( Although there have been some ups and downs of the school, especially in my first three years, this year has proven that it is a very supportive and welcoming environment.
