Voorhees was one of the cleanest schools I have every seen! The janitors work so hard to keep the school looking beautiful. And the students and teachers appreciate this so much. Speaking of the teachers, many of them are very kind and really care about you learning and growing. One thing that I would like to see improved is the security. There were police officers in the school, which can be comforting to some students. For me, it made me feel very insecure like they were there to get us in trouble for everything.

Class of 2013

I had a generally great experience at Voorhees despite not playing any major sports or being particularly wealthy. My classmates were, with only few exceptions, good people who I looked forward to seeing every day. It really felt like I had at least one friend on all 3 floors at any time. If any students (current or former) think Voorhees isn't worthy of praise then they should take a look around at other public high schools and reconsider the privilege it is to go to Voorhees.

PS: There really is a 4th floor. I didn't see a pool though.
Voorhees High School was a well rounded experience for me as a student. Many classes were challenging and encouraged me to perform my best at all times. However, some classes were not motivating to me and I was not able to be my best because of it. I gave my school four stars because the environment was friendly and there was always someone willing to help you with your academics. The reason I did not give 5 stars would be because some teachers were lazy and the school lunch was ridiculously expensive to the point where you would skip eating just to save money.
