Student life at VVHS is so fun, it's easy to get involved in lots of different clubs, sports, or activities. The teachers take the time to know their students and the subjects offered make coming to this high school a blast. I personally played soccer for 4 years here, captain of the team by my senior year, I am the computer graphics president, and have involved myself with MANY different clubs at school, designing their logo shirts for them, this makes me proud to go here. My level of involvement was my decision, but VVHS makes it easy!

What I liked about Volcano Vista was the school events like the basketball games, football games and soccer games. As well as all the different events they hosted to get involved with the community as well as with the school. Also they offer challenging courses to push and be college ready. Also the teachers and the students are very cool and its just general connection between students and teachers which helps out a lot. Also theres a lot of clubs to get involved in which help you meet and greet new people and establish frienndships with them.
Volcano Vista is a great school when it comes to academics and graduation rates. However in past years Volcano Vista had a reputation for a very poor sports department but across all sports there has been huge improvements. Including new practice times, new coaches, and new attitudes towards what we can accomplish. School spirt has increased as students get more involved in clubs and sports. Despite the great student support from extracurriculars there seems to be a lack of support from administration for some of the smaller clubs and sports as there is a great absents of any kind if funding for them.
