The main thing that I really enjoy about Volcano Vista High School is how everyday is so different but yet so fun! So far out of my 3 years that I have spent at this high school has created so many memories for me, that I think I will remember for the rest of my life. The teachers are very caring and treat you as if you were their own. There so much that this school offers from 21 sports, or even the never-ending list of clubs and activities that you can join. I would highly recommend coming t Volcano Vista High School and becoming a Hawk.

Both of my,kuds graduated from VVHS. My oldest was in all AP classes and got a lot of untested fron out of state colleges, even scholorship but ended decided on UNM as that was the best offer.
My younger had issues academically but received a lot of support from a majority of his teachers. Hevexvelked in music and received a musuc scholorship to ENMU.
I appreciate the communication I got from MOST of my kids teachers.
The Principal is amazing and very involved with her students and they love that!
My experience at Volcano Vista High School is one that can be described as being average and not too special. Like any other student there is I had successes and achievements, failures and mistakes. But what had the biggest impression on me while I was at Volcano Vista was the teachers. Some of these teachers I had were not only great at instructing on the subject at hand, but at connecting with the students and talking to them. They wanted to know who their students were by letting them discuss anything that was on their minds. The relationships that were made between these teachers and students will stick with many of us.

One thing that I would like to change is the handling of post-high school goals. Many students in Volcano Vista know the goals they have will be demanding to reach, but they still go for them. However, there are other students who don't have any goals and are content with taking it easy. The assemblies and parent teacher conferences do not build enough motivation.
