I loved being a student at Vista Ridge! The faculty was always there for the students and wanted what was best for us. Their goal was to prepare us to be the best for the world! I always felt safe going to teachers and administrators whenever I needed to or wanted to. The enviornment was truly a great place to learn and grow. I was able to grow in the amount of knowledge that I have, as well as grow into a person who could enter the world, knowing how to face any situation that would come my way.

For me to receive the opportunity to attend this school online, is phenomenal. As a freshman, this school gave me the most resources I could receive to be successful. I'm a AVID student at Texas demonstration school and I can see why we were given the title. Afraid of my past in some of my academic classes, I was afraid I would be able to work on maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I struggled with math and science when I left middle school. I was afraid the confusion in the past I had would affect my chance of getting into my dream school. I spoken to my new teachers and stressed my concern to them. That communication helped me. Now, I am a 4.3 student, succeeding math and science, and can now teach the subjects to others with confidence.
The school isn't perfect. I have faced my struggles with staff in the building for miscommunication over a class I have already taken. However, it's a good school and I would recommend the district all together.
I went to Vista Ridge for my Sophomore and Senior year. I was a bit nervous, but everyone was kind to me my first days in class. The classes and the teachers encourage participation, even if us students aren't all that interactive. There's a bunch of ways to commute in and around the school. The counselors and people in the front office are very nice and helpful. Didn't really have much interaction with the APs, so I was indifferent towards them for the most part. A good bunch of the students are indifferent towards school and people in general and that sometimes caused issues. There's many different options for food on an everyday basis and even are specials for holidays. A lot of clubs were active throughout the year and teachers had hours before, during, and after school to help students out if they needed it.
