Vista Del Lago was originally built to be a community College, therefore our campus is very beautiful. The food is eatable but definitely not rushing to the cafeteria everyday to eat it. We have a resource officer on campus, so any safety threats are immediately taken care of. I say if a student wants to go to college there is a a lot of support and guidance to get them there. The school is very diverse, but only because there are a lot of middle eastern, Asian, and Indian students, the school lacks in the Hispanic and black community, however being a black student I have had very few problems with this.In all honesty I have had more bad teachers than good. Many teachers are unhelpful, and very rude. However, the good teachers I've had have been amazing! If your child gets Hali Boeh go to the office and make them switch to a different teacher!!!

Vista was a great school in terms of preparing me for college. Currently in nursing school and a lot of what I learned in high school is helping me. Had some very amazing teachers who helped me along the way. Also had really bad ones who were mean, didn't care about students or pushed their religious/ political views onto you. Athletics were good but can still improve! Overall great education but the school still needs to get rid of the weak links.
Vista has been the most amazing experience of my life thus far. The staff cares so much about students, and parent involvement is incredible. I am amazed at how hard the administration works to ensure their student's safety, and a huge majority of teachers truly work the make sure every student is successful. The facilities are new and always clean, thanks to the amazing, kind campus monitors, janitors, and gardeners. The student body is incredibly accepting, loving, and spirited, and no matter who you are, you can really find your place here. The community here is so strong and wonderful. I can't put into words how unreal my experiences at Vista have been, but for those who question what we has to offer, I guarantee you will not be disappointed!
