They need to improve their fairness in addressing every student's needs. The staff seems extremely selective in those they choose to focus their efforts on. They make promises that they don't keep to those who worked hard for the promise they made early on, only to take it away with just an oops, that was an oversight. However, those students who are sports stars or "popular" always get what they want. If they want successful students to represent their school in colleges, they should ensure fairness in their everyday operations.

Vista Del Lago was originally built to be a community College, therefore our campus is very beautiful. The food is eatable but definitely not rushing to the cafeteria everyday to eat it. We have a resource officer on campus, so any safety threats are immediately taken care of. I say if a student wants to go to college there is a a lot of support and guidance to get them there. The school is very diverse, but only because there are a lot of middle eastern, Asian, and Indian students, the school lacks in the Hispanic and black community, however being a black student I have had very few problems with this.In all honesty I have had more bad teachers than good. Many teachers are unhelpful, and very rude. However, the good teachers I've had have been amazing! If your child gets Hali Boeh go to the office and make them switch to a different teacher!!!
During my time at Vista del Lago High School, there have been many academic and extracurricular opportunities presented to me, such as a Beginning Dance class, a plethora of AP courses, and lots of clubs and volunteering options. With an extremely well-qualified staff and helpful administration, Vista del Lago helps me to succeed academically and reach my high school goals.
