Vision Charter is amazing! They have teachers and staff that care about the students! The teachers are friendly, kind, and willing to go above and beyond for their kids! Vision offers kids the ability to graduate with an AAS as well as a high school diploma. They have started a sports program with baseball, basketball, tennis, swim team, and softball. I highly recommend Vision Charter School and wouldn’t think of Sending my kids anywhere else!

I have been going to Vision Charter School since fifth grade and I am now a junior. I think that Vision has created an environment that is not present in many schools. The atmosphere is very friendly, open, and accepting because of the invested teachers and staff. Most of the students also mimic the small school atmosphere and I have never felt like I have needed to defend myself against any negative attitudes or actions of other students. While there are not as many clubs and sports because it is a small school, the students are still provided with many ways to be involved. The academics are also at a very high level as the teachers take time to make sure each student is trying their best. The school also offers so many Dual Credit classes that we can receive an associate degree by the time we graduate from high school if we chose. Overall, I have loved going to the school.
Okay so it could be a good school. I have several kids that attend. I have had frequent issues with the admin, who abuses her power to push you around. She tells you how you should parent your kids and makes you feel like dirt when it’s not done the way she would do it. She only cares about her self image and the image of the school. She puts on a fair facade but if your child gets in trouble for anything you are the bad parent and your kid needs treatment. I have heard from other kids and parents similar things as well. Other people’s children have even said that the kids are great and the bullying doesn’t exist from the kids it comes from the staff. There are good teachers but I feel the whole system is poorly ran and is more like a prison setting. If your kids don’t fit the image mold they are targeted for being the odd ones out.
