Vinton High School has been a place where I have experienced a lot of changes. It has given me an opportunity to grow and I have experienced great leadership in the four years I have attended the school. It is a small school with few students which are very friendly people. The faculty and staff are kind and very helpful. They provide opportunities to enroll in college courses and honor classes in which I have taken the opportunity to do so. I’m my opinion their athletic program could be better. I also think they should have a drama club. My overall experience has been great!

Vinton, Louisiana is a very small town located almost on the Texas/Louisiana border. The schools are very small, but that is not always a bad thing. Here we have much more one on one time with our teachers and staff. The schools try to get parents involved as much as possible, with more and more opportunities appearing everyday. The teachers are trying to start more groups and bring more people together. We have just started a new e-sports team that competes with multiple schools in our district, and we have introduced a new computer science class that lots of people signed up for immediately.
I've had a very good high school experience here so far. I love that they have a lot of academic clubs that we can attend. I would love to be able to have free dress and not have to wear uniforms, so that is something I would change. I like the fact that we all have our own personal laptops provided by the school to be able to take home and so homework on instead of a lot of papers that we have to keep track of.
