I liked the rigor of the curriculum. The science classes I took in junior and senior year helped me to prepare for the pace and rigor of college science classes as well as the expectations of professors. Most of the faculty is very committed to the students' learning and are committed to the success of their whole student body. The school has a feeling of community which is important for high school. I never felt lost or on my own, socially or academically. There are great athletics and extra curricular like musical. There is a community service engagement as well through school sponsored and independent requirements of the students.
The only downfall of the school is the way the administration handles internal problems.

I love Vincentian Academy for its academics and IB program, but also its culture and community. It's cool to be smart here and the teachers are so supporting. I've met friends who I will cherish for life here! I'm also able to express my Catholic faith, and learning about it has helped me grow.
Vincentian Academy is an interesting school. It excels in some ways, but struggles in others. The strong religious aspect of the school turns many students away from the Catholic faith. There is not much diversity and the atmosphere is very competitive and somewhat toxic. Some of the teachers are questionable in their ability to do their job. Students have to constantly complain for some action to be taken. Clubs rarely meet and the only after-school activites that get attention are sports. The art program and a diverse array of elective classes is lacking. I wish I was able to explore my full potential at Vincentian, but, alas, I was not. I would probably redo highschool somewhere else less stressful.
