Village Academy is a tiny school that comes with an abundance of perks, for example, one-on-one student-teacher and higher academic and athletic recognition. I have attended Village Academy during my entire academic life. Therefore I know the school inside and out. A significant aspect of this school is the dedicated teachers and the excellent guidance counselor that cares for every student. The best part of Village Academy is the fact that there's almost little to none bullying! Now, because of the pros, I mentioned about Village Academy I have decided to stay and graduate here. However, there are also negative sides of Village Academy that needs to be reformed. The area is in need of better maintenance, afterschool activities/clubs, and more challenging courses. I believe that if the school spent more money on enhancing the betterment of the classes than spending on unnecessary sports equipment, our student success rate would increase gradually.

Although Village Academy is a small high school and may seem insignificant to others, you'll develop deep and trusting relationships with not only your teachers but with your guidance counselors. I've been attending Village Academy since kindergarten and to this day my relationships with my former teachers are strong.
This is a small AVID school, that is centered around college readiness. The school is under-funded, so it lack resources. The school also suffers academically, because it can be a challenge to hire good teachers. Since the school is small, its easy to have the one on one conversations with the teachers and administrators.
