Best education and environment imaginable! I was so prepared for college compared to my peers. I particularly liked the supportive environment, level of academic challenge, sports teams, and just overall friendships the school bred.

I am a sophomore but I am also a lifer, which means I have been there since 7&8th grade. I love Villa so much because the girls are the best. There are only about 50 girls in each high school grade which makes you so so so close with each girl and you can depend on any one of them. The principle is amazing because she is strict and she understands what you have to do to be successful. I feel like she puts Villa and the students first 100% of the time. She wants us to grow in faith, academics, and morals. At Villa, you also create such close relationships with your teachers and can talk to them any time. There are also so many clubs and sports and especially school spirit. Every student at Villa understands what is expected and what it means to make the best of the only 4 high school years of their lives. I would recommend Villa to everyone.
Villa Walsh is the right place for some, but not for everyone. Because of the small student body, the number of clubs and Advanced Placement (AP) classes are extremely limited. There is not a lot of diversity, at it is located in a predominantly wealthy and white area, and there is little financial aid available. Some of the not so great characteristics are that the food is nothing special, the WiFi is often slow or completely down, and some teachers that have been there for years and subpar. Although the girls are kind and get along for the most part, everyone feels the pressure of needing to succeed in class. Everyone knows everyone, which can be a good and bad thing. It's nice to have a tight-knit network, but everyone knows who's at the top of the class and who's at the bottom. This pressure to do well in class leads to a sleep-deprived and tired student body. Despite this, however, the school does produce students who are ready for college academics.
