Everybody is super friendly and kind. Lots of school spirit and going to football and basketball games never disappoints. The only things I would have to complain about are the lack of resources in the science department and the poor quality of the campus buildings. Nobody wants to be shoved into a mobile home converted into a classroom! Despite the lack of some financial resources, teachers do their best and the vast majority of teachers I have had are very passionate about their jobs. There is a sports team or club for everybody, I would highly recommend my school to others who are on the fence about attending.

I went to Villa Park High School for my junior and senior year. I graduated back in 2012. Their academics was actually pretty good for the most part, better than my last high school that I attended. As far as diversity, the students were predominantly Caucasian and/ Latino. My time there was fine for the most part. The good outweighed the bad. You know it was pretty much your typical high school with popular kids, not so popular kids, friends, enemies etc. Football and basketball teams were the best!! Pep rally’s were fun and the games were even more fun. The teachers I had were cool and some of the people I met there were nice. I just wish there was more diversity.
I really love my high school experience so far here. All of my teachers and counselors have been beyond helpful in helping me get into the right classes for me in order to allow me to succeed in the best ways possible. All sports are entertaining and have the opportunity to excel in all ways possible. There are so many opportunities for all students to get involved on campus whether through clubs, sports, academic clubs, ASB, Link Crew, and much much more. All of these ways to get involved help to make high school the best for all students.
