I transferred to Villa in 6th grade, right before middle school. The decision to switch to Villa is one of the best decisions I have made to this day. I found my people here, found myself, and found some of the best teachers and faculty you can find anywhere. Villa truly and deeply cares about each and every one of their students and it is so evident in even the smallest of things. Even after I have graduated, I still keep in touch with some of the faculty. The same goes for the friendships I made at Villa, to this day I am still so close with my friend group and even those not in my core group of friends as we still talk in our grade group chat on a weekly basis. Finally, Villa helped me learn and grow into who I am today. This was fostered in the multitude of opportunities to meet people such as the inclusive sports, endless clubs, and welcoming common spaces. Villa will always be my second Home!
I just graduated back in May and came to Villa when I was in seventh grade, and had nothing but a positive experience! The teachers and academics were excellent and I felt so prepared going into college, especially for my science courses. The traditions add to the overall experience at Villa and each year was more memorable than the last. I will be forever grateful for my education from Villa!
I joined the Villa community in 9th grade after attending a Sacred Heart School for K-8th. Immediately I was welcomed into the Villa Duchesne community with open arms, and enjoyed every minute of my time there. Every faculty member at Villa cares deeply about the students and wants them to succeed and do their absolute best in all aspects of life. Not only did I feel supported academically, but also within extracurriculars such as theater, sports, and even activities outside of the community. Villa Duchesne truly has a special feeling as soon as you walk through the doors, and I am so lucky and glad that I chose Villa as my second home.
