I am currently a senior, and I've gone to Villa since seventh grade. My experience has been up and down over the past six years. It's definitely gotten better, but Villa still has its issues. As an African American, it was hard transitioning from a diverse public school to a predominantly white private school. Diversity rates are incredibly low among faculty and students. There have been numerous incidents surrounding racism, that unfortunately have gone brushed under the rug. Teachers are okay.. a lot show little effort but the select few that do care make a great impact. The course load is unrealistic for the education we're receiving. I've found myself learning most subjects on my own do to the lack of effort from faculty. However, our school lunch is great!

My experience at Villa was truly amazing. I honestly wish I could go back and relive those four years. The ratio of teachers to students really helped me get the attention and help to grow I needed. The school is constantly getting more technology and developing more innovative ways to teach. This school has prepared me for college in more ways I could think of. Along with amazing academics, Villa is so fun! Things like conge, field day, hanging in the commons and the amazing food are also great bonuses. I cannot imagine my high school experience anywhere else. Please send your daughters to Villa!
My experience from Villa has been like no other! I started in the 9th grade and will be graduating this year. Going into high school I was very nervous because I had never been to a new school. Right away I felt welcomed with open arms. I became friends with the upper class man from playing volleyball and soccer and have made many more connections going there! One thing I would change about my school is the “rich” reputation it gets. Villa just recently changed their tuition to accommodate and diversify our school. I am very glad they changed this because I have met people from all over that come from all different backgrounds! If I had to do it again I would choose Villa in a heartbeat!
