My time at VASJ was amazing! The food wasn’t all that good. Vasj let me be ready for high school and college at the same time. They worked with us even when some of us weren’t all the way on the path we needed to be on to get where we needed to go. But yet they helped us as much as they could to get us ready for the step beyond high school which is amazing and some other high schools may not even have that in their setting. So vasj students are the lucky ones.

Villa Angela St. Joseph is by far the best school I have ever went to. Along the years I've made lots of friends, and created many memories. I've also experienced many things in this catholic school that one wouldn't experience in a public school. Through these four years of high school, there was never a time where there was negativity in the air. At this school, one would feel that everyone is equal and also that everyone shows respect for one another no matter their race. Since the school is so small, which is great, students get more one on one time with the teachers for academics. Lastly, one would consider us as one big family. "Once a Viking Always A Viking !"
I loved VASJ High School. It was a great college preparatory school and it helped me immensely as I went through my first year of college. However, VASJ's building is outdated and I feel as if the school needs to update its computers and work on maintaining a functional library that students can actually visit during a study hall or lunch period, as it may be helpful to some students who do not have access to these materials at home. The lunch was horrible, but the lunch ladies are friendly. Overall, my high school experience was amazing and I'll always bleed red and blue.
