Vestal Middle School is one of the best schools ever! Not only do we get to learn but we also get to see our friends. Yes, many people complain that we get to much homework but it is for the best. By getting homework we get to try our best of what we learned after school.
I used to really hate math but now I love it. Math may seem really boring like all the other subjects but they can really help you in life outside of school or after you graduate. For example, when you go to the store and you have 5 dollars and each item is a certain amount of money, you can do mental math if you know how to do it but if you don't then you wouldn't know how many of each item to get.

Most teachers are not willing to help when you're struggling. The kids do almost whatever they want. There's no enforcement for dress code. Bullying is huge issue that no staff seem to address at all. After school activities are non existent for grade 6 and minimal for grades 7-8. The school is joined with an elementary school so it's a little weird when first getting to know the building. I think it's weird the elementary kids are almost intermingled with older kids and that they have to walk in a catwalk to get to the playground across the street.
I would not choose this school again. I want more options for clubs and sports. I want to feel like I'm safe and if there's a bullying problem it will be handled with swift disciplinary actions that county towards the bully
