Veritas is a little pricey, but it has an unparalleled classical liberal arts curriculum, though only decent in STEM. The small size of the school allows for a great student-teacher ratio and discussion-based classes. However, I wish it were slightly larger, so that it could offer electives, which it currently doesn't under its rigid, but good, curriculum. The students are kind and helpful, and engage in various extracurriculars. School spirit is relatively weak. Students mostly like their teachers, and in-class trouble is practically non-existent. Christianity is well woven into the material, and is effectively reinforced without it feeling forced or overly conspicuous.

Every teacher cares about their students and are very accessible. Some can be intimidating or weird, but they are all intelligent, knowledgeable, and experienced. The teachers grade kindly, often giving half or extra credit, allowing make-up work, and excusing for extenuating circumstances.
The only really good extracurricular is choir. The other programs are fledgling, small, untalented, or some combination thereof. Moreover, if a sport is offered at the school, students aren't allowed to participate in that sport at a public school more professionally.
