Venice Senior High School Reviews

Venice High was a decent school academic wise and had a couple great counselors and teachers. High school was not really my thing so I personally did not have a good time but for those who are more social, they seemed to really enjoy the experience. The school has a wonderful MCJROTC program which i was apart of and I loved it, i learned some great skills and had amazing mentors. Overall high school was not for me but for someone that enjoys school and people it might be a good experience.

I absolutely love Venice High School. The academic programs offered are great. They offer both DP and CP for the IB program, as well as the AP Capstone program. They offer a wide variety of classes and the teachers are great. Venice has a beautiful campus too. The athletic facilities are also stunning. I have had the best high school experience here and I would recommend it to anyone. You have endless opportunities here.

Large, inclusive Highschool. Excellent staff and leadership. Innovative and helpful teachers. Lots of opportunities and aid for future goals.

The schools staff and councilors are amazing. The campus was just redone and it's absolutely gorgeous. As a student here, Im continuously learning how to be a better person, how to help those around me, and set myself up for a bright future upon starting college next year.

Venice High School isn't only a high school, its a second home to me. The teachers and coaches really care about your goals in the classroom and on the field so they devote as much time as they can to make sure you are successful after high school as well.

Nice school, very clean Campus great sports program. Wonderful partnership with State College of Florida for dual enrollment As well as partnership with Suncoast technology institute. There are many opportunities for those that want to join clubs and participate that way.

Teachers and courses are all very great. Covid procedures are safe and effective. They have some portable classrooms so I think if they put in another building it would be better. Other than crowding, it's a great school.

Venice High works very hard in making everyone feel accepted and in giving equal opportunities to each and every student. The teachers work hard to help students prepare for the future and every staff member assists in that journey. I have always felt welcomed by every teacher I have had here, and by every staff member i even met in the halls.

Over my 4 years of attendance at Venice High, I can gladly say my experience was more than just an attendance. Between the studying and scurrying to class, I made relationships with teachers and staff that could advance me further outside of the classroom and into my field of study.

Venice High is an excellent school. I have learned a lot to help me prepare for college/the real world.

I have enjoyed my time at Venice High School, and I think that it is a very good school to attend regarding many factors, such as involvement and college readiness.

Venice High School is designed well. It is organized in such a way that makes it easy for students to learn their way around.

I believe Venice High school, and particularly the AP and IB programs have prepared me for College adequately.

I had a great time, I made long-lasting friends. I enjoyed my academics and my extracurriculars, which included soccer, music and leaderships clubs.

I had a lot of good teachers, made many friends and above all felt safe. Perhaps it would be better if more budget was available for academics. I Would've like to have more options to learning other languages like Japanese, Italian or German. This school is a great school. No bullying and really safe.

Brand NEW. I'm a graduate. Some of the greatest sport teams in the area. The community loves and loves to support Venice High School! Campus is brand new and located on an island of a small beach town.

Great academics and wide variety of academic programs to choose from. Tons of clubs to join and be apart of. Great teachers that will get you college ready

The teachers are very good. The campus is very pretty and historic. The surrounding area is gorgeous and the staff is very nice and helpful.

The admin is poorly trained as far as helping kids that need help or that come to them asking for help, my highschool experience was ruined because my freshman and sophomore year I was scarred from the way they treated me and many others.

I moved from a small private school. Venice was a very big change but it was one of the best changes. The people were very welcoming and the school atmosphere was immaculate.
