The school used to be very bad, in ways where teachers didn't seemed to care and kids we're always failing.. But in the last three-four years not only have the teachers turned it around but also the students. Everyone is working together to change the school for good and honestly it's working. Bullying is extremely low. The last fight was two years ago, and grades have gone up. Students participate in almost every activity. Everyone is very supportive of all groups. And the teachers are always there to talk and help anyone who needs it. Vasquez is quite amazing.. It's one big family.

Overall my experience at Vasquez was really good, I made really great friends and had the best teachers especially for english. Vasquez English department is one of the best departments in my opinion. I really enjoyed learning in my classes. As a former alumni I have to say I do miss my high school years.
It's a small high school, when I went the academics were great and there were a good group of teachers that cared. However, most of them have moved to other schools are found work elsewhere so now I can only say what I here from my younger sibling who goes there. The pros are that it's a small high school, so it does make it less intimidating and everybody does know you, but at the same time if you do not really fit in with the status quo of the community it can get very isolating at times.
