I loved my high school. All the teachers were very helpful with anything I needed. I would like to change the amount of advanced classes that they offer.
I have enjoyed my years at Vardaman High School. I feel as if Vardaman High School has prepared me for my future career. The staff at Vardaman High School goes out of their way to insure that each individual succeeds. Vardaman offers several clubs and activities for an individual to be a part of. I am able to take 4 college classes during my senior year. I find this to an advantage because it helps me get college hours out of the way before my freshman year.
The thing I like most about Vardaman High School is the atmosphere. It is a very small school where everyone knows each other. The teachers go out of their way to help you whenever you need them. I feel that I have been well prepared for the next chapter of my life. I feel very safe at Vardaman. Everyone works together to provide a safe learning environment.
Great small highschool. Easily made friends and had fun. Use to be a shy but this school changed that. Teachers are fun and help in a very detailed manner. I hope to see food improvements so that my younger siblings can have a better food experience. Food not being so tasty and quality is the only problem i have.
Vardaman high is a school for dedicated individuals to come together and learn. While the food is nasty and the clubs are slim, Vardaman high still has a lot to offer.
this school has not only taught me the things i will need when i get in college but it also taught me to be myself
It's great I feel safe at all times, and I never feel threatened.
My experience at Vardaman High School has been nothing shy of excellent. I have built so many life long friendships here. But don't get me wrong, it's had it's days, but if I could go back in time, I would do everything over again the exact same way I did the first time. I love the Vardaman school system so much that I plan to send my children there one day.
Everything is wheat. The only safe thing that you can be sure not to get wheat on is the chicken strips and chicken nuggets. Thanks Michelle Obama!
Being such a small town, everybody knows everybody and we have a lot of support at our high school games, regardless of the sport being played. Everyone shows school spirit at school, especially during football season. Our athletic facilities could use some updating, but all in all we have a place to get ready and that's our main priority. Our football team this year is was really young, and we didn't win a single game, but that didn't matter, our fans still showed up and showed out with their loudness.
The teachers at Vardaman High School are the top of the line very best. I have no idea where I would be today without them. When I struggle at a certain topic or area of the subject, they are always willing to give up their free time and help. For example, my math teacher, Ms. Jo Howell has spend countless hours helping me in math, my weak subject, to help me succeed and be able to be prepared to go straight into college algebra and actually know what I am doing. I feel like the teachers at Vardaman are highly qualified and are some of the very best in the state.
Vardaman High School is, to me, the best school to be involved in extracurricular activities. It's two big clubs are FFA and the Beta Club. Vardaman also has a Chess Club as well as Science Club. We have one teacher that has dedicated the majority of her time to many of these clubs. I have just named a few, we have a wide variety of clubs to join.
There is some peer pressure but what school doesn't have that. Most people are accepting.
The clubs are ok. We just don't have very many. We have beta, ffa, fca, fccla, student council, and annual staff.
I love this school. Most people are friendly and get along really well. You can actually get to know people and teachers because the school is small.
I always feel safe and well taken care of. The doors are always locked like they are suppose to be. I don't feel like anyone could come into my school and harm me. I have never been bullied and I haven't seen many people that have been.
Actually, I just graduated like 1 to 2 months ago. So, I have not had very much experience. Two days after graduation, I attended summer school at The University of Mississippi. I took two classes; Freshman EDHE 105 and Psychology 201. Freshman EDHE 105 was a very easy class for me. I came out with an A plus. Psychology 201 was very intense; I had to learn from 3 to 5 chapters in a week. I came out with a C plus. I got adjusted to the campus life very well. I took responsibility very well.
