I have been a student at Vandebilt Catholic High School since I was in eighth grade. I have learned so much these past four years! The education that one receives here is outstanding! It is geared to prep students for college and life in general. I feel that the teachers and staff truly care for us all! The religion department is the best part! Not only do you learn more about the Catholic faith, but you learn about other religions as well. I can also say confidently that my years at Vandebilt have greatly benefited my writing and debating skills! I honestly can say that I can’t picture myself at any other school!

I think overall my experience at Vandebilt has been good. I’ve many a multitude of amazing and prepared teachers over the past five years, both in my regulars and honors classes. With what I’ve been taught, I feel very prepared for my upcoming college career. I’ve also gotten the chance to make some amazing friends. Our sports teams have always been pretty good and everyone that I’ve talked to likes the sports programs. Our art programs (band, visual art, choir, and theatre) are also very good. I also appreciate that all students are required to do service hours every year. My only issue with how service hours are done is that more than half that are required have to be completed at school for the school. I do believe that it is important to put pride in our school, but I believe more hours should be put going out into the community. Overall, I would recommend Vandebilt to others for a good, Catholic education.
Vandebilt Catholic High School is a great place to go to school. The faculty and staff is amazing. The school presents many opportunities to do what you love to do. It is a family! With every family there are definitely ups and downs, but overall there’s a great positive atmosphere about VCH!
