I am currently a student at iTech Preparatory and I love the program! We are a project-based and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) school built on collaboration and creativity. I love iTech because it encourages students to work outside of the box. We are also about to get our own building (since we have been staying in the Clark College building on WSUV campus). The building is phenomenal and has been built around who we are as a school. I would encourage students to join iTech because it is an experience you will never forget.

I considered myself very lucky to be selected as a high school student in iTech. Vancouver iTech Preparatory, a S.T.E.M focused high school, was a very friendly, creative, and competitive educational environment with project based education style and very diverse classes with lots of intelligent students came from all different cultural backgrounds.
iTech Preparatory is a S.T.E.M. based school with a little over 250 students. I have attended their school for about 5 years now, and I absolutely love the program. My favorite thing is their "redo" policy; if you fail an assignment/test, you can retake it as many times as you want until you understand the concept. For the most part, teachers are very flexible and understanding of student schedules. The community itself is very accepting of a variety of people. In addition, our school is dedicated to getting their students college ready. With the amazing staff and easy access to multiple online resources, they are really successful with that goal. The only downside to this school is that it does not currently have its' own building, so the high school meets at the WSU campus. This complicates things sometimes, as we share space with the college. Additionally, if students would like to participate in any extra-curricular activities such as sports, they need to do it outside of iTech.
