For the most part, Vancleave teachers work very hard to make sure their students are successful, especially if you take the honors classes. However, it is a predominately white school, with several racist and bias students. The students and teachers are also very religious for the most part, so they are not very understanding when it comes to homosexuality. Some faculty members also force their religion on the students, and there are several religion-based break activities. The churches also put flyers on cars from time to time. Lastly, Vancleave does not offer any Advanced Placement courses, so that is a big disadvantage for our students when competing for scholarships. I know it sounds very negative, but overall, Vancleave academics and athletics are usually very competitive with other schools in their division.

It's an amazing school. I've had many experiences here and im glad this was my highschool. Im know here as a trouble maker, but they are very understand and great teachers. The problem is some teachers don't teach the kids well and it really hampers there development. That and the constricting rules on dress code and redundancy rules but besides that, it's awesome.
All of the teachers are very available and helpful. They genuinely care about the students and their mental and physical well being. I would like to see the school distribute information better, however.
