It was very hard moving from a private school to a public school. Especially when your fourth grade class is seven times the size of you whole third grade class. Valley View helped me with certain types of educations and teaching that I would not get in my private school. I have gotten to experience amazing opportunities and meet amazing friends. The best part about valley view is their amazing faculty. I am beyond thankful for the teachers that we chosen to educate me from fourth grade, till now.

As a junior in high school with many uncertainties to come as I enter the world of adulthood, I am certain of one thing. Not only did Valley View High School illustrate the importance of academic success, but the school district taught me the value of friendship as well. Growing up through this school system has shown me just how important my companions can be in making my academic journey worthwhile.
I have LOVED my time at Valley View. I have gone here for my entire academic career and have throughly enjoyed it. I have very rarely ever felt unsafe during the school day or after-school events.
Each teacher genuinely cares about the subjects and students they are teaching. Of course, there are some exceptions to that, but VERY few. They really do care about us all individually.
If you are coming to Valley View solely for academics, I would say go elsewhere. As a junior, I do not feel the least bit ready for either college or a career. I feel the school puts far too much emphasis on tests like the ACT.
The students are very nice and welcoming yet most are close-minded to different ways of doing things. Many students plan to go into the medical field, and we have a variety of medical classes. Many AP and College classes are also offered and most students take a few of these throughout their time in high school.
