Although stereotyped to be a "ghetto" school, Valley actually has the best teachers any student could ask for. Every single teacher is willing to engage and connect with their students on an academic and personal level, all while sacrificing their own time. The culture at Valley is also unmatched. We have several different students of many different ethnic backgrounds that enriches our diversity and our experience (especially food experience)!

When I attended valley I just moved from new jersey and did not know what I would be expecting. I came my senior year and instantly I clicked with the administration. I made a lot of friends and enjoyed the company I kept. Their food was way better then my other high school in jersey which I enjoyed and they also have snack periods throughout the day. I also enjoyed my school because avid prepped me for college and gave me the proper resources I needed for those years. The school is very diversified including all races from Asian , to African American, to white you name it! We had prep rallys every week which kept me excited as well. Overall I would rate the 8 out of 10. Only thing I would change is location.
It will be my third year in Valley High and so far I'm loving it! they have amazing and out standing teachers that are there to always help you. Another thing that makes me give this school 5 stars is that they have different academies. For instance, I am in the Health Tech Academy. That is a program that is 4 years long and they train you to become CHW's ( community health workers.)
