I have been a student at Valley High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico for four years now. To be quite honest, I have not been happy with my high school experience. Sure, there are some good people that have brought nice memories and have shown lots of support, but overall Valley is not a strong school. Thankfully, I have been an honors student and have taken all of the advanced courses offered at Valley which have brought me great opportunities and amazing interactions with certain teachers. However, the overall spirit of the school is terrible; students seem miserable and bored to be there, administration is unsupportive, and teachers hardly have a say. This has made my experience in participation in clubs an upsetting experience. However, what I appreciate from Valley is the size of the campus and enrollment. Because it is so small, there is a special sense of community, with lots of kindness spread by individuals.

Valley is a great place to go if you want a good high school experience. From our athletics (basketball) to our school dances, valley is at the top of the list. It definitely prepared me for all the parting college has to offer so I’m glad I’m not a lightweight. On the other side, valleys academics are decent, but it is what you make of it. Me personally, I’m struggling to get adjusted to college !but I would definitely recommend this high school.
Well Valley is a very loving school all the teachers are here to actually help the students. While yes, their are some harsh teachers but mainly everyone is helpful and the one thing that I believe needs change is how filthy our campus is that is if we all start picking up it'll be the perfect school.
