I enjoy attending the Valley Heights school district because of the care the teachers provide their students with and the patience shown to every student. However, living in a small community and thus a small school has its disadvantages. There is a limited amount of higher education/ college courses available to student.

Valley Heights Junior/Senior High School makes you feel as if your apart of a family, the teachers are always willing and open to have one on one time. It is very clear that Valley Heights is only looking only to take kids to their highest potential. If I could change something about my school it would be separating the junior and senior high schools I believe that high school kids should be able to have the full high school experience without the junior high.
The only good thing this school has going for it is its resources and a handful of caring teachers. The weight room is better than most schools and the gym and equipment are great. There are a lot of laptops and I-pads available for students and a fair amount of options for lunch. My problem with this school is that if you don't have the right last name or are important to the athletic department, there is a very high chance that you will be treated accordingly. There are strict rules on dress code including a bank on book bags. Let me repeat that. A BAN ON BOOK. BAGS. An item created for the purpose of carrying books AT SCHOOL is banned at Valley Heights. All in all, 10/10 would recommend. (If you want to hate high school even more than the average teenager)
