What I loved are the opportunities that lie within the school ranging from medical and sciences to music and art! This school will help you succeed and gives you no reason to fail! Your councilors, your teachers and the staff are always ready and willing to listen to you. They are willing to take care of you when you need their support and they will not let you fall! The staff is filled with wonderful people and love to show you around opportunity mall! They'll take you shopping all around there and at no cost! Whenever I needed. Help on my homework, all the teachers I had were willing to help me! The clubs and classes that are offered there are just as amazing as the staff! I joined the model UN club for two years and oh was it worthwhile! Despite the other schools having a class for it, that doesn't mean we were any less of a worthy opponent! Our club leaders made sure our resolutions were worth the fight and our efforts. Mr. Komar also led us to victory in biotech olympics !
Review Valley Forge High School
Overall, my four years here were a blast! I enjoyed taking AP courses and participating in a variety of different extra curricular activities. The teachers are very good for the most part. I would have liked to see more technology classes, though, especially since they through a MacBook at me my senior year that I had no idea how to use. One semester my freshman year did not prepare me for college at all.
The range and amount of additional classes offered allow for creativity and a relief from required classes. The teachers at Valley Forge truly make it a great environment. They are positive and knowledgable. Academic advisors are not as helpful, as they do not always disclose useful information regarding college prep or scholarships. Also, throughout the years, many academic programs have been cut, hindering our students and their ability to grow in their intended career field.
