Academically, Valley Christian Schools holds their students at a high standard. They are expected to go above and beyond the goals set and are appropriately pushed to work at the best of their abilities. I love how God is in the center of everything they do. Athletically, the expectations are the same. We are to use our God given talents to perform to the best of our abilities and Glorify Him through our victories, defeats, and most importantly our attitudes.

Youngstown Christian currently rename Valley Christian started out to be the school that really set the bar high for Christian education. In the beginning of me starting at this school in elementary, my parents really felt they made the right choice to me having smaller class size to learn, and the requirement of me being able to be taught to be the best along with Christian studies, but over the years the school started to transition in allowing others of not a Christian faith to join this school and slowly started to see the values that it once stood for is now just like any other public school instead of it being a private school with offering their students the very best in our education! I have to honestly say that I am glad to be a senior this year and just hope that those who remain after me will start to see more improvement instead of it becoming just like any other public school.
I’ve been going to Valley Christian since kindergarten. I’ve seen many things change. It seems as though the school has gotten more strict over the years. All of my high schools years I’ve had multiple teachers because they leave after one year which makes it difficult to learn. Overall I’ve had a great experience though. The administration, teachers and even the students are very considerate and make sure to check on everyone if they look like they’ve had a bad day.
