Valley Christian Schools strives for excellence in Christian education by partnering with Christian parents in meeting each individual students needs. Founded in 1935 on the concept of parental involvement, our schools are an extension of Christian family life. VC Schools is dedicated to bringing every student to his or her highest potential: academically, socially, and spiritually. We have over 1,300 students in preschool through 12th grade and our facilities cover 40 acres of fully owned property with three campuses located within a mile of each other.

I came in high school so I didn't get a chance to go to the middle school or elementary school. However, I wish that I did because the teachers and the learning environment are amazing! The teachers like building relationships with their students and it doesn't feel like they are just there to teach you, which makes learning a lot more fun. The school offers lots of sports, too, and from what I've seen, the coaches are amazing! The school also has tons of fun electives that you can do, such as orchestra, band, ceramics, choir, art, etc. One of my favorite parts of Valley Christian High School is all the fun events that they put on: the Harvest Festival, the Sadie's Hawkins Dance, Homecoming, Winter Formal, Junior-Senior Banquet, Prom, and Broadway Showcase (which is a showcase that the entire school puts on, including the elementary and middle school). For a private school, Valley Christian is really amazing!
I can say that the school departments prepare you well for college rigor and courses, if not TOO well. The academic programs they offer as well as courses are structured in a way to completely prepare independence and accountability in you as a student. The integration of technology in classes also proves beneficial for students as many colleges have begun converting to strict technology guidelines. The class curriculums are challenging and un-relentless; just the experience a student needs before heading to college. In terms of a christian education, often teachers present a very biased, one sided perspective, and incorporate many of their own personal views or beliefs into their curriculum and the way they teach the class. The diversity on campus has significantly improved throughout the years, but there is still frequent incidents of unconscious bias, and prejudices towards many of the minorities on campus (as you are bound to find at any regular high school).
We have had 2 children (1 graduated and 1 entering senior year) go through Valley Christian.
Their growth spiritually, academically, socially, and athletically during their time at VC has made this a priceless experience.
It has been such a blessing for us to watch our children grow so beautifully and to be a part of such an amazing community.
We are so thankful for our years at Valley Christian!
