VCS is a great school with a quality Christian worldview focus. It is a tight-knit community that makes for great friendships. With the slogan, "Education For Eternity," the school's values are transparent. I began attending my freshman year and quickly fit in. There is no other high school I would consider attending! Although it is a small school, there are many opportunities for the size. Personally, I appreciate the small student body. It makes for an enjoyable environment. God has blessed me and my family with the opportunity to attend and the financial ability. I look forward each day for the opportunity this school provides!
I love my class it feels like a family since it’s such a small school. It’s also easy to get extra help with homemade because the classes are so small and most teachers are willing to come in before or after class to help out their students. The theatre program is a little lacking not because of the teaching quality but because the school doesn’t have the funds to provide a better and more usable space for costume, props, set and other things. The sports programs are very good. The parents work hard to make sure that the teams are always fed and the school gets the gym floors deep cleaned every year. The make sure that the jerseys are always up to date and we never have to stop a sport because of lack of coaching. Overall the school is very clean and the staff are very friendly.
I have had a great experience here! It's like a great little family and new people fit in really well here. I personally have enjoyed all the sports and band especially.
