Overall I think that the school is very safe. Although the school is safe, it doesn't really allow students to grow. There aren't lots of AP courses and there are barely any extracurricular activities to get involved in. Besides the safeness of the school, it doesn't really give students big opportunities that other schools do.

Hello, my name is Chelsea and for a little while longer, I am a senior at Valley Alternative Magnet. This school has been without sports programs for many years and now I hear sports are returning next year. I am very happy for the other students, including my brother who plans to join cross country.
This school used to be a family school. Teachers are called by their first names. We have a farm, and every one is so friendly, but over the years the staff have changed. This is causing the school to collapse. If only the old staff would return.
