My son has had nothing positive experiences at Vallejo Charter School. He has been a student since Kindergarten and will graduate 8th grade next year. He has had exceptional teachers each year who have inspired in him a love of learning. He works hard and is proud of his good grades. I am very thankful for Vallejo Charter School!

VCS strives to live by the Expeditiomary Learning's Design Principles. My favorite Design Principles are "Our Differences Make Us Stronger," and "Success is Sweet, but Mistakes are Good Food." I really like the parent involvement. The PTO does a lot for the school. The teachers are dedicated to helping all students succeed. My son has thrived here.
The teaching staff seems very devoted to their students. All teachers are Expeditionary Learning trained except for some of the newer teachers that were brought on this year, though it seems as if they are also receiving that training and guidance from "veteran" EL teachers at the school. All classes send out a newsletter at least 1x a week and many of the teachers seem to communicate well with families through email and the like.
