I love going to Valle Catholic Schools. The academics are very good for the classes we have. We have a limited amount of teacher which leads to a limited amount of class options. Since we are a small school, we are limited in some of the things we have. For example, we have a limited amount of clubs and activities. Of the clubs and activities we have, they are all very limited; we do the bare minimum and nothing extra. This is what bothered me. I didn't get the same experience as a public school student. This could be a good and bad thing.

I love the smaller class room sizes. I didn't feel like my child was getting lost in the shuffle and looked over. You get to know your teachers very well as parents are urged to be involved with school activities and are kept very informed about what is going on in the classroom. Teachers go above and beyond for example: when my son was in 4th grade, the kids are recommended to be at a certain level DRA reading level at the end of each grade. There were multiple students that were not. Both 4th grade teachers volunteered to tutor those students over the summer a couple of hours a day, 2 days a week for 6 weeks to help them get to where they needed to be rather than just moving them along to the next grade.
The lunches could be better. There is sometimes hair in your food and maybe undercooked. The lunch ladies don't wear hairnets. Some lunches are good, but some could be better.
