Vail ski and snowboard academy was a great place for students to excel in their sport while simultaneously becoming phenomenal students. Students are given the ability to push their academics when preparing for college and are given the unique opportunity to follow their athletic dreams. One thing I would love to see more of Is communication between the ski club and the academy. Overall great experience that has changed my life.

VSSA is an incredible school for students who are very competitive in winter sports. The school is very supportive of its student-athletes and allows them to train on snow, in the winter, 6 days a week. The senior class of 2018-19 had the 7th best composite SAT score in the state of Colorado.
overall it is a good school for athleates that need a flexable academic scedule. However, the scedule this year is not ideal for some disiplines. Teachers are helpful and classes are individualized.
