I have had an amazing time at Vacaville High School, it is filled with staff who want each and everyone to succeed. Not only does it have great staff but it has an amazing atmosphere! The principle along with the leadership students do their best to make sure everyone enjoys their high school years and will be left with many great memories for the rest of our lives. Vacaville High also has many great sports programs and clubs so everyone can find a place to fit in. The sport players get so much recognition around campus and the school supports all of there teams with both students and teachers. On top of the students and teachers , even many Vacaville High alumni will come back to watch and root on the football team.

Vacaville High School is a great place to be! Getting involved in any of the different diverse clubs including student council, link crew, or even waffle club helps make your experience more enjoyable. School culture is very cultivated here and we always sport our black and orange pride. Our facilities are beginning to be updated which is great because VHS is definitely due for a touch up. You leave VHS after your four years grateful for every memory watching a football game in the Tom Zunino Stadium, walking to class with friends, playing varsity volleyball, or even sitting in both of the Omand's classes learning about math or economics!
As a transfer student from a rival school, I never would have expected to be so welcomed when I came to Vaca High. The leadership at this school is incredibly strong and supportive to students from all backgrounds. There is a huge variety of clubs to choose from and there is a very impressive FFA program that many students have chosen to take part in. Ever since quarantine has started, the school has done an outstanding job at keeping in touch with its students through emails and phone calls. Teachers are empathetic toward their students during these troubling times, and many have provided the perfect amount of work to supplement our lack of hands on education in the last few months. Of course, every school has its flaws. Vacaville high could always improve in certain aspects, such as preparing students for college and preparing them for AP exams. However, they continue to improve every year. My experience at Vaca High has been memorable, and I look forward to my last year there.
