It’s a pretty good school, to be honest my school year has been going great, the staff are very responsible. The teachers are very careful when explaining their materials, and when someone doesn’t understand they take a step back and explain everything from the beginning and try to make it all more simpler. The students too are pretty amazing, they are respectful. The teachers are very friendly and understanding.

High school was pretty rough for me. It mostly wasn’t even students that bothered me, but a lot of teachers. I could go on about my stories, but let’s just say if it wasn’t for my band director Mr. Cortes, or my counselor Ms. Myers, and other teachers I’ve had, I probably would’ve gone down a bad road. I’m thankful for the teachers and counselors I had, that made every moment worth it.
U.S. Grant is an absolutely hands down amazing high school. No matter where you go you'll always find someone you can relate to. At U.S.G. you can always find someone to help you with anything you need, from academic to personal. The teachers are phenomenal. They always make sure you understand the material, if you don't, they will explain it step by step and even help you one on one. U.S.G. may have a bad reputation but if we look closely the people saying this are not the people who are there on the daily, living every detail, and seeing the beauty and diversity at Grant. GO GENERALS!!
