Founded in 1874, Ursuline Academy of Dallas is an independent Catholic, college preparatory school for young women sponsored by the Ursuline Sisters. Its mission is the total development of the individual student through spiritual formation, intellectual growth, service to others, and building of community. Ursuline Academy educates young women for leadership in a global society. I love Ursuline Academy of Dallas. The staff, teachers, and students are all amazing and extremely supportive. I feel that I have really grown as a person and student during my time there. I do not believe there is a "worst part of [my] experience" as the prompt asks because the school is perfect for me. There are many different clubs, organizations, and opportunities for everyone. I can not really think of anything I would like to see change either!

Review Ursuline Academy of Dallas

I came from a smaller Catholic school in Dallas there was fear going in. Many come from bigger and more known schools nearby which I figured would be a smoother transition to the one I would be going into. On my first day I was welcomed by everyone and made friends easily. We were all going through the same fear. Ursuline is a sisterhood, and it was vibrantly shown between underclassmen and upper. There was no separation between us. My four years as a student have been amazing due to the faculty, students and those visiting. It is always an adventure with every event including service. Serviam has been our moto and we all represent it with everything we do. We give back to the world and have become leaders in our community. As seniors we are given the privilege of serving every Monday morning to the destination of our choice. It's a beautiful experience which you make connections with. Ursuline Academy prepares you to be a leader in the world and gives you amazing opportunities.

When I think of the word 'community' my experience at Ursuline is what comes to mind. From meeting people in classes or clubs, or my teammates on the swim team, Ursuline has given me such an amazing community and sisterhood that I never would have expected out of a high school. The all-girls aspect makes the classroom environment so encouraging, especially when it comes to STEM classes; it really gives me the chance to branch out and experiment with any interest I could possibly ever have.
