I do like Urbana High school. It’s has quite a bit of cliques but not too bad and you’ll find someone. You have a really broad choice of classes you can take. We have really good teachers and also really bad teachers. The higher English classes are pretty stressful and almost have nothing to do with learning English it seems, more social studies based. Which isn’t bad just wish it had a little bit more English involved. The school is overall pretty average. Just keep to yourself and try not to pick“battles” you have no business being in. Drama is pretty rampant but that’s in all high schools.

For the most part, I have encountered supportive and positive teachers and mentors at Urbana High School. The variety of AP and advanced classes paired with supportive staff adds a lot to the school. However, the disconnect between administration and teachers and students (teachers and students holding a close relationship and not so much with the admin) puts a negative spin on the educational experience at UHS.
Good class options, mostly good teachers. Excellent diversity (very liberal), excellent student culture, good amount of sports options and stellar facility, even though we aren't *that* good at football. Overall, a good experience!
