Just like any schools, my school has its up and downs. The teachers make it their priority to help kids do better in their academic life and they are always there if you need them personally and academically. We have formed relationships that we will always cherish. furthermore, my school is also welcoming to everyone and we are very diverse. However, most of the kids lack ambition and think things are going to be handed to them with no amount of hard work and that is something that sometimes makes learning hard for me. The students aren't respectful and they do not take their education seriously while make would die to be in their place. I hope in the future this is something that we can change because I know them and I know that they can do better we have to break barriers and be there for each other.
Urban Action Academy is a wonderful high school and I strongly recommend it. The student and staff relationship is great and it feels like one big family. Every school has its up and downs but the goods outweigh the bad. The teachers here are caring, encouraging and down to earth. They genuinely care about there students and are willing to go the extra mile.
My experience at UAA has been good so far; As a senior to be in September, i have had good and bad times at the school but mostly good when it came to teachers, clubs, activities and the education system. Art club and photography club run by the art teacher- Ms. K, has been one of the greatest thing at the school, i love both clubs and would definitely participate during my last year at the H. S.
