Upper Lake High School Reviews
Rating 3.72 out of 5 25 reviews
Academics and teachers were excellent. Having college classes available and shop classes. Learning how to weld, sports, and the diversity.
Upper lake high school is very small school in a rural area. Go to a small school has its pros and it’s cons. The good thing about a small school is that You are able to have more one on one time with teachers. This could help you academically only with mentally. Students here support one another as much as they can. Many of us are several generations in of their parents and their parent’s parents going To school here. This means many of our parents or families have been friends for many years. Many of our fellow classmates have been our friends since before we even started school. Having a good support system plays a huge factor in being successful. Although we hav supports from our fellow classmates, I can not say the same from the school. The school does not have a library, has only one AP class and have few electives. This makes it very difficult to compete with students from big schools who are able to take several AP classes along with being involved in sports and clubs.
