I enjoyed the challenges I had to go through from middle school to the last year of Highshool. I dont think there is any changes that should be made I believe it is good the way it is.
I think that the education on books is good. The teachers and students are not especially teachers. On the other had as a student you must really advocate for yourself and that is how you growing by doing it for yourself and you going out to fix things and ask questiosn.
My experience at Uplift Peak Preparatory was good, there is definitely some things I would change. Although I wished that there was more school spirit, I really like the campus. The teachers are amazing and very helpful.
I had a pretty good time at this school. It does lack in sports that regular public schools have so that makes it a little hard to engage. Their is also. lack of extracurriculars due to the size of the school so you really have to search outside of the school. This school is good for academics though so that is very helpful in preparation for college readiness.
The thing that I really like about Peak is that all the teachers are very helpful. In the way that they will take time out of their life and help you on what ever you need. As well people are very good listeners they always help you or cheer you up when your sad or not feeling good.
During elementary and middle school years I went to a DISD school, but when I was about to start high school I decided I wanted to go to another school that was better. I decided to apply for the Uplift Schools and ended up getting accepted, I was very excited for this new journey with new friends and classmates. The teachers and students are very caring, respectful and never let you down. Throughout these four years I've had some of the best experiences, and I cannot imagine my life if I would have gone to another school.
Well I’ve been at peak for a couple years and I can Say it’s been okay. I’ve learned so much from that school.
Overall Uplift Peak tries their best to give their scholars the greatest education possible. They also try and make sure that the students feel safe and comfortable when they are in campus. Uplift Peak also has many events throughout the school year and many opportunities for community service hours. The teachers there are also very friendly and care about what the student is going through. In fact, some teachers even go out of their way to ask you what's wrong and try to comfort you and give you advice. Lastly, if the student is not able to attended tutoring due to certain issues the teachers even offer the student to see what is the best day they can attend it. Overall I have had a great experience with Uplift Peak because I made great memories over the years. They really have made my high school years/memories memorable.
What I love about Uplift Peak Preparatory, is that we have about 100 students in my class. We know everyone in campus, and teachers know you. At peak you do not feel like you are a student, but a part of a big family. Staff and teachers at every caring and try their best to see scholars succeed.
Teachers usually make their best efforts to help every student and motivate them to do their best at all times.
I"m currently a sophomore going as junior however the teachers in every grade are a great guiding help. They help you achieve what you would like with extra time staying with you after school to talk about future with college or even just get you caught up with school work. I enjoyed the amount of support you get from friends and administration. There has been many seniors in past that become very successful and I would like the be one because I believe with the very helping teachers and adminstration I am able to.
The teachers are great. They show that they care for you and your well being. Administration could improve their way of handling certain situations. There’s been times where they could have been doing much more and other times much less. To a certain point, they were very limiting on what the students could and could not do whether it was standing up for each other or a societal and community issue.
Peak has made me set high standards for myself in school. It is not a perfect school, but the teachers do help the students succeed in their classes.
My overall experience at Uplift Peak Preparatory has been great throughout all my 5 years here. I never thought I would be a senior graduating in the year of 2020, but time flies when your learning.
I like that some teachers show you that they do care about you and they do care for the things you do.
What I like most about my school Uplift Peak Preparatory is the guidance and the encouragement from teacher and other faculty on campus. Whenever one is struggling or need help I know each staff member will be there and ready to help by any means possible.
I have gone to Uplift Peak Preparatory for 12 years and so far I don't regret coming to this school. The counselors are great because they put their all to help scholars be ready for college.
