This school is one of a few schools that I attended and stood out from all the rest. The materials that they teach us is above from other teachings that I’ve had before. But, they have demonstrated that they tend to be disorganized on what type of work they want to give to teachers and what the teachers teach to us. The problems/issues in this school keep escalating throughout the months. We went from being mostly on the middle in our test scores to being way low in the bottom, having lethal fights, drug dogs came to our school for the first time but came 3 more times, even more sheriffs wait outside our school to keep close attention. This school changed us in a way that it affects our learning and communication towards others, causing to have a little “revolution” or some sort. I wouldn’t recommend this school if your new to this city/neighborhood because the thoughts of what people say here can really mess you up in such a unique way.
I enjoyed the school spirit more than anything. Everyone in the school showed "Mighty Pride"! We even made competitions to see who had the most school spirit but it was always the girls to win. Just the competition was best part.
Had the best years of my life here, and have nothing negative to say about it. The atmosphere is great. The academic counselers are amazing and helped a lot during my transition.
