As far as academics go, University High School has a wide variety of choices. The environment is accepting and safety measures (like IDs and closed gates during and after class) are good. The campus is big. There is enough room in classrooms and in the cafeteria. From what I have seen there is also plenty of parking. I have found that working with the staff in the office to be efficient. I have enjoyed feeling heard and understood by my guidance counselor. The teachers I have are great! They all are kind and understanding if you communicate with them.

As an art student, I have been disappointed with the orchestra program. Seven classes are given one class period. Meaning the entirety of the orchestra is crammed into the choir room and there is no instrument storage. I am a part of the chamber orchestra. There are about 11 of us. We play in the back storage closet, if we even get time to play at all.

In my four years at University High School, I experienced a tremendous time of growth and maturation that was much needed heading into my adult life.I learned how to manage my time correctly, how to handle finances in my adult life, how hard-work helps set the foundation for what you dream to accomplish, and what it means to be coming-of-age. I found teachers and administrators who loved to teach and loved to be there for their students, no matter the circumstances or problems in their lives. The staff was always willing to help the students (including myself) and they were always open to give a hand. The relationships cultivated both with other students and the staff (teachers and administrators) are relationships I will carry with me in my heart for the rest of my life. University High School helped me to grow as a young man and helped teach me that ministry is wherever the Lord places you. I will always be proud to be a University Titan! God bless you!
University High School was a pretty good school to go to! I love how it is still a fairly new school which makes everything still look nice and new. I loved getting to be an office aid in the Media Center where I was allowed to help organize books, run to other classrooms for errands and check books in and out for fellow students. Many of my teachers were always cheering me and the other students on wanting us to succeed in everything!
