Universal Academy is an A-rated school. The school tries their hardest to work with what they have. The food is your usual school food, half cooked. The facilities they have are the main school building, a cafeteria, the gymnasium, and some portables. They need to renovate their facilities because their pretty old, I'll say about 50 years old. The staff is pretty good even though they have their favorites. The teaching good because we the school is getting more resources. This school is actually the first school in Texas, and first charter school in the U.S. to have the Cambridge curriculum, so that' s a big one-up. Overall the school is pretty alright but they need to really upgrade the resources they have.

Universal Academy is an average school. They need better facilities, more resources. Some teachers at this school have their favorites and treat some students differently from others. The school needs to let their students have more freedom because they're strict.
My children are in second and third grade this year and Universal Academy is a FABULOUS school! Every time I am at the school to have lunch with my kids or help out with a PTA function, I always feel like I am among extended family.

This is a great area to live and have your children go to school!
